Becky Sue Redenius was born on May 18, 1961 to Henry and Norma (Uptain) Farmer in Cortez, Colorado. Then moved to Gillette, Wyoming with their dad and lived on an acreage where she enjoyed riding horses. Becky's family had a boat and they would frequently go swimming. She was baptized in Gillette on May 1, 1971 at St. Matthew's Catholic Church. Becky graduated high school from Gillette High School in 1979. Becky's good friend Liz introduced Becky to a friend of hers named Donnis Redenius in 1985. Becky and Donnis fell in love and were married on July 29, 1988 in Gillette, Wyoming where they resided until 1993 when they moved to Pipestone, Minnesota. Becky enjoyed helping at the Pipestone Senior Center and working with her good friend Laurie Welu. Making crafts such as pins, necklaces, and dream catchers with her daughter Candace, who she shared a birthday with, was a great joy of Becky's only surpassed by spending time with her grandbabies. Sundays the family would get together at the farm, this allowed Becky more time watching grandbabies run and play. In her final years Becky traveled more and had plans to visit the arch this summer. Becky passed away unexpectedly but peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at the Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Becky will always be remembered for being a kind and beautiful soul but having a mischievous side. She would always welcome anyone with a smile while she worked one of her customer service jobs.
