Hancock
Benaiah James Strong, stillborn son of Matt and Maddy Strong, went into the arms of the Lord on January 28, 2026, at the UP Health System- Portage Hospital before he had a chance to meet his family.
Surviving are his parents, Matthew and Madeline Strong, his sister Penelope Strong, along with his maternal grandparents, Todd and Angela Anderla, his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Meredith Strong and Julie Cortright. Numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A funeral service for Benaiah will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, February 14, 2026, at the Zion Lutheran Church of Hancock with Pastor Jesse Aho to officiate. Spring burial will be in the Holy Family Catholic Cemetery of Ontonagon.
Friends may call on Saturday February 14, 2026, from 1:00 pm until time of services at the Zion Lutheran Church of Hancock.
