BENEDETTO "Benny", age 84, June 8, 2024. Beloved husband of Mary Fisichella (nee Martin). Devoted father of Regina (Antoni) Wichryk, Fil (Shanna) Fisichella, and Giulia Fisichella. Loving grandfather of Nicholas (Abbi), Andrew (Hannah), Kateryna, and Anastasia; great grandfather of Cameron. Dear brother of Joseph (Lena) Fisichella. Dear uncle of Maria, Bernadette, Angela, and Phillip; also survived by many cousins both in the U.S. and Italy.
He was proud of being from "Adrano, provincia di Catania en Sicilia." Benedetto was a cabinet maker by trade and custom built many cabinets and furniture. Benedetto served honorably in the U. S. Army.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and funeral Thursday morning, June 13th, 10:00 to 11:15 A.M. at St. Edmond's Church, 21st and Snyder Ave. Funeral Mass to begin 11:30 A.M.
Interment Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Benedetto's memory to the Center for NeuroGenetics by mailing checks to the UF Foundation, PO Box 100243, Gainesville, FL 32610. Donations will be used for research in Myotonic Dystrophy at the CNG. Please write Benedetto Fisichella's name in memo line.

I cugini di Adrano Tino, Melina, Benedetto Melo, Antonio insieme alle rispettive famiglie.
Benedetto,
Adesso corri sul campo stellato,
ti rotoli nella polvere di stelle
ti sfami di felicità, e ti addormenti
nelle braccia di Maria, la nostra Madre Santa e vegliato dal tuo Angelo Custode.
Il nostro pensiero è sempre con te
e, non ci abbandona mai.
Siamo sicuri che anche il tuo pensiero è con noi,
perché un pezzo del nostro cuore l'hai portato
con te nella tua eternità.
Ti salutiamo carissimo cugino Benedetto,
lasciaci piangere, perchè vogliamo riempire il vuoto che ci hai lasciato.
Con le nostre lacrime, ma anche con le preghiere speriamo che tutti coloro che ti conoscevano e ti volevano bene riescano a superare il dolore di questa grave perdita.

The Best! In my 84 years on this good earth, I've met thousands of accomplished people. I once shook the hand of JFK, Joe Biden, Mohamed Ali, and Rocky Marciano. I have personally known several Nobel Prize winners, great writers, musicians, religious people, doctors, teachers and artists. All, exceptional people. But, there's only one person whom I have known who was the very best at what he did. That man was my cousin Benny. The world's best cabinet-maker, now in heaven, where he is among the Best who have ever lived.
