Mr. Benjamin Earl Bright, age 49 of Barbourville, departed this life on Sunday, November 2, 2025. He was the son of Earl Bright and the late Carolyn Sue (Gray) Bright, born to them on June 16, 1976.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Sue Bright, his sister, Bridgette Ann Bright and his grandparents, John R. and Tressie Bright and Billy and Gussie Gray.
Benjamin had worked for a while at American Greeting Card in Corbin and later, with his father selling cars at EZ Auto Mart. He loved going to the beach, watching UK Ballgames, and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his father, Earl Bright of Barbourville, his longtime partner, Kellie Poole, and his special friend, Rodney Smith all of Barbourville. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, and cousins to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Benjamin will be conducted in the Hampton-Hutton Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Josh Smith officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Henry Mills Cemetery beside his mother. Pallbearers will be, Steven Bright, Jeff Bright, Rodney Smith, Michael Bright, Brandon Bright and Calvin Smith. Hampton-Hutton Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 1:00 p.m.
