Benjamin Joseph Cheeseboro, 26, passed away unexpectedly on July 16, 2025.

Born on October 23, 1998, to Amos Benning Cheeseboro, Sr. and Enid Priscilla Yearwood Cheeseboro.

He was caring, compassionate, quiet but loud, and truly beloved by all who took the chance to get to know him.

Benjamin's passion for basketball ran deep. He loved playing on the court with his teammates, and off the court for several rounds of 2K. His vast knowledge of the sport and its history could be felt in every conversation with him about it.

He also had a creative and thoughtful side; he loved capturing photos of clouds for his mom, a small act that spoke volumes about his gentle spirit.

Naturally curious, Benjamin had a mind that never stopped asking questions. He would often research how things worked and why things are the way they are. But more than anything, he valued time spent with his family and friends, cherishing those moments above all

Benjamin is survived by his loving mother, Enid Cheeseboro;

his siblings, Sherri Cheeseboro, Belinda Cheeseboro, Bryan (Tamara) Cheeseboro, Amos Cheeseboro Jr., and Burton (Linda) Savary;

and his cherished nieces and nephews, Savannah Cheeseboro, Vivian Cheeseboro, Rajahnni Savary, Anthony Terry, and Reyvon Savary.

He was preceded in death by his father, Amos Cheeseboro Sr.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 22, 2025,

at the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home in Mount Vernon,

where family and close friends will gather to honor Benjamin's memory and the light he brought into their lives.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
