A ceremony celebrating the life of Benjamin Thomas DeLaune will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday September 21, 2022, at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, visitation will begin at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Ficklin Cemetery.
Benjamin was born in Covington, LA on August 8, 2021, and departed from this life on Friday September 16, 2022, at Children's Hospital New Orleans, at the age of 1 year, 1 month, and 8 days.
He was a resident of Livingston, always a happy baby, giving the best snuggles and cuddles. From the moment of birth (maybe without choice) he was an avid fan of LSU Tigers.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Gwen DeLaune.
Survivors include his parents Mason and Allison DeLaune, grandparents Thompson DeLaune, David and Pam Hausknecht, great grandparents Helen Hausknecht, and Vernell Delaune, aunts, and uncles Rebecca Cannino (Paul), Hailey Johnston (Preston), Jacob, Carter, Conner, Luke, Katie, and Jennie DeLaune, cousin Lennon, also survived by his canine companion "Spot", host of other relatives and friends.

I don't know this family but I know the amount of grief there is and I'm so sorry for this it is so hard and you will stop crying after awhile but never stop thinking
