Benjamin DERRICK Obituary
Spokane - Benjamin Patrick Derrick, born in Cleveland, Ohio, was a gifted athlete, artist, and environmental scientist. He earned a master's degree in Environmental Science and was passionate about nature, animals, and creative expression. Ben played multiple sports, loved music, and wrote under the pen name BenJames. He is deeply missed by his family, friends, and beloved cats, Happy, Jellybean, and Milo. A memorial service will be held at 2721 E. 63rd Ave., on Friday, September 5th, at 5:00 p.m.

Benjamin is sorely missed by his family. Although the distance was far we still stayed in touch. And our family memories are so dear to us. We were only four years apart and had many good times growing up. It´s not the same without you, Ben!
