Funeral Mass for Benjamin Gonzalez, age 47, of Yantis, TX will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at St. James Catholic Church, Sulphur Springs, TX with Father Victor Hernandez officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Juan Carlos Gonzalez, Alberto Gonzalez, Ismael Gonzalez, Jose Juan Gonzalez, and Juan Carlos Gonzalez, Jr. Visitation and a Rosary will be held on Friday, March 1, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at St. James Catholic Church. Mr. Gonzalez passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 in Dallas, TX.
Benjamin Gonzalez was born to Angel Gonzalez and Maria De La Paz on March 7, 1976 in Celaya, Guanajuato, MEXICO. Benjamin married the love of his life, Martha Luna, in Emory, TX in 2011. He worked in the Construction Industry but previously worked as a Dairy Farmer for 15 years. Working was his hobby, he loved taking care of his cows, pigs, and sheep. Benjamin was a member of the St. James Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Gonzalez of Yantis, TX; children, Ana Gonzalez of Yantis, TX, Angel Gonzalez of Sulphur Springs, TX, Mariana Gonzalez of Yantis, TX, Alberto Gonzalez of Yantis, TX, Benjamin Gonzalez, Jr. of Yantis, TX; grandchild on the way, Clara Angelique Gonzalez; brothers, Juan Carlos Gonzalez and Miguel Angel Gonzalez.
Benjamin was preceded in death by his parents, Angel and Maria Gonzalez, and brother, Alberto Gonzalez.

Misa fúnebre para Benjamin González, de 47 años, de Yantis, TX, se llevará a cabo a las 12:00 p.m. el sábado 2 de marzo de 2024 en la Iglesia Católica de San James, Sulphur Springs, TX, con el Padre Victor Hernández oficiando. Los portadores del ataúd serán Juan Carlos González, Alberto González, Ismael González, José Juan González y Juan Carlos González, Jr. La visita y el Rosario se llevarán a cabo el viernes 1 de marzo de 2024 a las 3:00 p.m. en la Iglesia Católica de San James. El Sr. González falleció el martes 27 de febrero de 2024 en Dallas, TX.
Benjamín González nació de Ángel González y María De La Paz el 7 de marzo de 1976 en Celaya, Guanajuato, MÉXICO. Benjamín se casó con el amor de su vida, Martha Luna, en Emory, TX en 2011. Trabajó en la industria de la construcción, pero anteriormente trabajó como ganadero lechero durante 15 años. Trabajar era su pasatiempo; amaba cuidar de sus vacas, cerdos y ovejas. Benjamín fue miembro de la Iglesia Católica de San James.

Benjamín fue precedido en la muerte por sus padres, Ángel y María González, y su hermano, Alberto González.
