Benjamin Harkey Obituary
Mr. Harkey is survived by his wife of 71 years, Joanne Hart Harkey; his brother, Wayne N. Harkey; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mr. Harkey will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 9, 2023, at the Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly. The family will greet guests from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Monday, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery, Mount Holly.
Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children by visiting https://donate.lovetotherescue.org, or to New Covenant United Methodist Church, 14514 Lucia Riverbend Hwy., Mount Holly, NC 28120.
