Benjamin Ray Hatcher (Benny) was born in Frederick, Oklahoma on June 20, 1956. He passed away in El Dorado, Kansas on September 16, 2025.

He is survived by his mother Tressia F. Ryan, sisters, Kathy S Anderson and Judy L. Ryan. Niece Kayla (Cody) Nelson and their daughters Lily and Ellie, Niece Nena (Blighton) Taylor and their sons Ricky and Lucas.

Preceded in death by his adoptive parents Raymond & Lavinia Hatcher and sister Mary Ellen.

Benny served in the US Navy from March 25, 1974 to July 24, 1978. 2 years active duty and 2 years in the reserves.

He was a very proud veteran and never went anywhere without his US Navy hat on.

Benny went to school and was raised in Moore, Oklahoma. Benny lived in Modesto and Stockton California from the late 1980's until April 2024 when he moved to El Dorado, Kansas.

Benny worked as an electrician and a construction foreman most of his life.

Services will be held at the Winfield Veterans Cemetery on October 24, 2025 at 11am.
