Funeral services for Benjamin Hernandez, 65, of Temple, will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, January 30, 2026, at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel in Belton. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Temple.
The family will receive friends for visitation 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday evening at Dossman Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Hernandez died Thursday, January 22, 2026, at his home in Temple.
Mr. Hernandez was born November 28, 1960, in Longview, the son of Alberto and Florene (Davila) Hernandez. He worked in construction as a self employed contractor with his company, A & B Contractors.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Alberto Hernandez, Jr.; and one nephew, Aaron A. Hernandez
Survivors include four sons Benjamin Hernandez Jr and wife Cassidy, Carlos Hernandez, Adrian Hernandez, and Erick Hernandez; four daughters Feronica Pablo and husband Felipe, Catherine Hernandez-Ford and husband Stephen, Victoria Hernandez-Nichol and husband Jeffrey, and Yaneth Escobedo-Hernandez; one brother Louis Hernandez, and three sisters Adelita Berumen, Linda Martinez and Venus Shelton; and nine grandchildren.
