Benjamin Paul Hopkins

Benjamin Paul Hopkins, age 54, of Belle Center passed away 1:37 a.m., Sunday, October 26, 2025, at St. Rita's Medical Center. He was born on September 15, 1971 in Lima to the late Paul J. and Arlene U. (Weyer) Hopkins.
He was a member of McGuffey Church of Christ. Ben was a very talented machinist and was excellent at what he did. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and could fix anything. He was the proud owner of the first Harley off the truck in 2023; he loved that bike. More than anything he loved his kids and grandkids.
Survivors include spouse Beverly Setzer of Wapak, children: Hope (Preston) Rowley of Huntsville, Benjamin P. Rowley, Jr. , Brynlee Jean Hopkins and Briggs Robert Hopkins all of Wapak; 3 grandchildren: Payton, Camden and Ruby Rowley; siblings: Paul Randall Hopkins of Belle Center, Regina Hopkins of Charleston, SC, Rodney (Debbie) Hopkins of Uniopolis, Craig (Julie) Hopkins of Sidney and Charlaine (Keith) Martin of Ocala, FL and several Nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a daughter Bella Jean Hopkins Nov. 16, 2009, and a brother Robert Lyle Weyer.
A celebration of Life will be held Friday, October 31, 2025, at McGuffey Church of Christ from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and the memorial service will follow at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor David Holbrook officiating.
