Benjamin Caswell Hopper, 46, of Glenpool, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 21, 2024. Born on January 18, 1978, in Plains, Montana, Benjamin was the cherished son of Tim and Linda (Barwick) Hopper.
A man of unwavering dedication and service, Benjamin proudly served his country in the United States Army for nearly eight years. His time in the military instilled in him a sense of honor and community that he carried throughout his life.
Benjamin met the love of his life, Breesy Franklin, and they were united in marriage on June 20, 2009 in Lakewood, WA bringing life to children Sheldon, Riley, Korben, Ayden & Zoella.
He worked as a CNC Machinist at Dvorak Instruments, where his precision and skill earned him the respect of his colleagues. Beyond his professional achievements, Benjamin was instrumental in forming Glenpool VFW Post 9126. His tireless dedication to the Post and the veteran community was a source of pride, and he inspired many through his leadership. Breesy often joined him in organizing and volunteering for VFW events, reflecting their shared commitment to service.
Ben loved the outdoors and activities like grilling, camping, and spending quality time with his wife and children. His faith in his Lord and Savior was a cornerstone of his life. A talented woodworker, Ben was also a passionate Oklahoma Sooners fan, often attending home football games with his wife, Breesy. He found joy in hiking the trails near his Montana birthplace, a place that always held a special place in his heart.
Benjamin is preceded in death by his brother Joel McCartney Hopper.
He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with his beloved wife, Breesy Hopper; his children Sheldon, Riley, Korben, Ayden & Zoella; his father, Tim Hopper; his mother, Linda Hopper; his mother-in-law, Linda Dunham; and many other loving relatives and dear friends.
A Celebration of Life to honor Benjamin will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Woodlake Family Church Glenpool, 14460 S Elwood Ave, Glenpool, OK 74033. A graveside ceremony with military honors conducted by VFW District 5 Honor Guard will follow at Bixby Cemetery.
