Louise Hopper, age 92, passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2025 at Tradewater Health and Rehab in Dawson Springs, KY. Mrs. Hopper was born on March 11, 1933 to the late Cecil Clyde Clark and Nora Griffin Bauer. She was a beloved mother and homemaker and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dawson Springs, KY. Mrs. Hopper was a 1951 graduate of Charleston High School.

Mrs. Hopper is survived by two daughters ~ Sharon Ann Hopper Butts and her husband, Steve, of Kuttawa, KY and Janis Cay Hopper Peroddy and her husband, Johnny, of Dawson Springs, KY; two granddaughters ~ Melissa Ann (David) Lutz and Jaime Cay (Mike) Opalek; four great-grandchildren ~ Bayne Lutz, Jordan, Memphis and Maverick Opalek.

Preceding Mrs. Hopper in death were her parents; her step-father ~ John Bauer; her husband Harvey Hopper (departed 2/8/1991) and her brother ~ Robert Clark.

Visitation for Louise Hopper will be Friday, October 3, 2025, from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour at 2:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, KY with Elder Jeff Winfrey officiating. Burial will follow at Shyflat Cemetery in Christian County, KY. 

Pallbearers will be: Steve Butts, Johnny Peroddy, Mike Opalek, Terry Lamb, Memphis Opalek, David Lutz, and Ross Workman.
