Charles Wayne Ishmel “Chuck” Hulsey, age 61, of Dawson Springs passed away on Friday, September 26, 2025 at his residence. Mr. Hulsey was born on January 28, 1964 in Helena, Arkansas to the late Charles Wayne Hulsey and Edith “Marie” Howton Hulsey. He was a member of the Church of Latter Day Saints and was a 1982 graduate of Dawson Springs High School. Mr. Hulsey is survived by two sisters ~ Pamela Hulsey and Joan (Johnny) Cotton both of Dawson Springs, KY; three nephews ~ Cody Cotton, Dustin Cotton and Joshua Frankel; seven great- nieces and great-nephews ~ Ezekiel, Adeline, Kierra, Carter, Riley, Max and Ace.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister ~ Andria Mae Frankel. 

A graveside service honoring the life of Charles Wayne Ishmel “Chuck” Hulsey will be held at 2:00 on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at Layfette Cemetery with Bro. Tommy Gunn officiating. The funeral procession will leave Beshear Funeral Home, 201 North Main Street, Dawson Springs, KY, at 1:30 P.M.

Pallbearers will be: Johnny Cotton, Cody Cotton, BJ Cotton, Dustin Cotton, Kevin Hulsey and “Batman” Cotton.
