Benjamin Peter Hoscheid, beloved son of Jacob "Jake" and Melissa "Missy" (Rose) Hoscheid, was born on August 4, 2025 in Minneapolis at Masonic Children's Hospital. He was received into the eternal care of Our Lord on August 8, 2025.

Measuring 16.5 inches long and weighing 6 pounds, 2 ounces, he entered the world with a small but mighty presence. Jake and Missy cherished every ultrasound and every moment they heard that steady and strong rhythm of his heart beat-his life already woven so tightly into theirs.

Even though his time here was brief, they valued every second of holding him close, soaking in the peace of his embrace and memorizing every detail of his features. In those sacred moments, they created a lifetime of memories. Ben spent his last 15 hours on earth in the warm embrace of his parents, and is now in the eternally warm embrace of his heavenly family.

Benjamin is deeply loved and will be forever remembered by his parents, Jake and Missy; grandparents, Mike and Janice Rose, and Len and Sue Hinton; aunts and uncles, Parker and Kelsey Deutz, JP and Carlee Rose, Emily and Jonah Schoenfelder, and Kevin and Suzy Hinton; many cousins, extended family members, and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at 10:30 AM, with visitation beginning at 9:00 AM, all at St. Michael Catholic Church, 11300 Frankfort Parkway North, St. Michael, MN. Interment will follow at St. Michael Catholic Cemetery.

For those unable to attend in person, the Mass will be livestreamed via the church YouTube page: https://www.youtube.com/c/StMichaelCatholicChurchStMichaelMN

Jake and Missy wish to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the NICU team at Masonic Children's Hospital in Minneapolis for their excellent care, compassion, and support during Benjamin's time there.

Arrangements have been entrusted to The Peterson Chapel of St. Michael – Albertville. Online condolences for the family may be directed to www.thepetersonchapel.com.
