Benjamin McGlothlin

Kingman, Arizona – Benjamin Wesley McGlothlin made his transition on October 25, 2023. He was born on March 2, 1981, in Wuerzburg, Germany to Stanley McGlothlin and Petra Ehrle McGlothlin. His family became complete when he joined his siblings David McGlothlin and Martina (McGlothlin) Bumm. As Army brats they were fortunate to live in a variety of places including Salinas, CA, Little Rock AFB, AR and Heidelberg, Germany.
Ben moved to Leavenworth, Kansas as a 6th grader. He graduated from Leavenworth High School in 1999 and received his Associates Degree from Kansas City Kansas Community College. He married Tobi (Lewis) McGlothlin on June 28, 2003, and settled in Kingman, Arizona where he lived for the last 17 years. For the last several years, he worked in the public relations department at Kingman Regional Medical Center, most recently as an Event Manager.
Ben was preceded in death by his son Carson McGlothlin. He is survived by his wife Tobi McGlothlin and his two daughters: Claire McGlothlin and Emily McGlothlin of Kingman, AZ; his mother Petra McGlothlin of Leavenworth, KS; his father Stanley McGlothlin and wife Susan of Raymore, MO; his sister Martina Bumm and husband John of Whitewater, KS; his brother David McGlothlin and wife Bethany of Halstead, KS; his in-laws Jerry and Sherry Lewis of Kingman, AZ; his sister in-law Brandi Laughlin of Leavenworth, KS and many other extended family including nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Ben will be remembered for his fun-loving nature, his friendly helpfulness, and the joy he brought to the lives of those around him. He was loved by his family, friends, and co-workers and will be greatly missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, December 3, 2023, at the Riverfront Community Center, Leavenworth, KS from 2-4 p.m.
