Benjamin Dean Miles

Benjamin Dean Miles, age 40, died Tuesday, December 24, 2024 from a sudden illness. He was born November 24, 1984 in Escondido, California. He was raised by his parents, Andrew Freeman “Andy” and Cynthia Helen Copening. He was engaged to his longtime girlfriend Ashlie Talbot. 

Benjamin grew up in Moapa Valley. Shortly after high school he moved to Palm Harbor Florida where he worked in a WalMart Distribution Center. He enjoyed working in the warehouse, loading and unloading trucks. He moved back to Logandale in 2020 after reconnecting with Ashlie. His hobbies included skeet shooting, the outdoors with family and riding his Harley Davidson. He loved his extended family and enjoyed every opportunity to gather together.

Survivors include his fiancée Ashlie Talbot of Logandale; his parents, Andy & Cynthia Copening of Palm Harbor, FL; brother, Matthew (Kelsey Wolford) Miles of Eagle River, AK; sisters, Christina Miles and Samantha (Colin) Maughan both of FL; nephews and niece, Alex Miles, Lucas Miles, Matilda Maughan, Benson Maughan and Caleb Miles; and Tia Evelyn Santos and Tio “Rico” Richard Mendez.

A family gathering and viewing will be held Saturday, January 4, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 12 Noon at the Moapa Valley Mortuary, 5090 N. Moapa Valley Blvd., Logandale, NV. Friends and family are invited to sign our online guest book at www.moapavalleymortuary.com
