Benjamin Moore went home to be with his Savior on September 11, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Benjamin was a man of deep faith who loved people and his country dearly, lived generously, and shared the message of Jesus wherever he went. His kindness, selflessness, and devotion to others touched countless lives.

He is survived by his daughters, DeAnna (Nick), Tiffany (Ronnie), and Angela (Patrick); his sisters, Althea (Marc), Ruth, and Martha; Kris Russell (Glenda), and many, many grandchildren whom he absolutely adored. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Patricia, and his brothers, Sammy and Dan.

Benjamin's greatest joys in life were his faith, his family, and serving others. His legacy of love and devotion will live on in all who were blessed to know him.

A Song from Dad to His Daughters - Written by Benjamin Moore

See, I remember the scent of your Momma's first kiss, felt her embrace as I entered the bliss. Witnessed her grace as she walked down the aisle, I held her, consoled her, and rocked her awhile. We broke up and made up after our first fight, then we made love for the rest of the night. And though we weren't able to stay to the end, throughout my life I can still call her friend.

I know you're gonna cry when I die, but I wish you wouldn't.

I watched your first breath, I heard your first cry, saw your first gaze at your mother and I. Watched your first drink from your Momma's sweet breast, I rocked you and burped you, and all of the rest. I heard your first sob at your puppy love death, and cursed the slob under my breath. I watched you grow up, chase after your dreams, and then you were gone-forever it seemed. If that isn't living, I don't know what is, and I don't regret a minute of this.

Well, the years have gone by, and my eyes have grown dim, no longer to me do you look, but to him. I know in my heart that he is the one, I see how he holds you at my setting sun. And I'm happy to pass the baton on to him, 'cuz I know that this circle is closing again. And the day is soon coming when I go to my Lord, and He will console you and leave you restored.
