Benjamin Francis “Frank” Watson, 82, passed away Thursday, December 25, 2025, at Prince George Health Care.
Born on December 18, 1943, in Kingstree, he was a son of the late Oscar Reynolds Watson, Sr. and the late Kate Caroline Turner Watson. Mr. Watson was a member of Andrews First Baptist Church. He was a Mason and member of Harper's Masonic Lodge #225 and was also a Shriner. Mr. Watson loved spending his free time on the water, where he enjoyed water skiing. Along with spending time on the water, Mr. Watson also enjoyed reading, gardening and spending time with his animals.
Frank graduated from Williamsburg High School and attended Clemson University. He loved his Clemson Tigers. Frank was known in the neighborhood for his delicious pecan pies that he made from scratch. Frank was a super brother with a kind heart always willing to help those in need. He will be missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include two sisters, Kay Watson Boltz (Don) of North Augusta and Jane Watson of Murrells Inlet; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a bother, Oscar Reynolds "Buddy" Watson Jr.
Services will be private.
Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
