Bennett Purdy Obituary
Raised on dairy farms around the US including St Croix, US Virgin Islands. He attended Copenhagen High school in upstate New York. He began his career of driving a truck in 1982. He loves restoring old vehicles from snowmobiles and motorcycles as a teen to trucks and tractors in recent years. He later married Shannon McAlexander in June of 2000. He gained 2 beautiful Children, Jessica Marie Moss of Brighton (granddaughter Lexi Grace Moss) And Nick Arden McAlexander of Cabot, Ark. (grandson Jameson Lee) Son, Matthew Dillon Purdy of Cabot, Ark. (grand children, Mason Dillon Purdy and Avery AnneMarie Purdy, Miles Otto Schafer) He was Married to Margita Villato Purdy, Daughter Lian Nicole Villato Purdy and resided in Garland, TN. He worked as a dump truck driver for Quick Crete for the last several years.
Bennett was preceded in death by his father, Richard O Purdy, Sister, Linda J Barrett and Brother, Bruce Allen Purdy
He is survived by his Mother Virginia Anderson of MA and brothers, Brian R Purdy (Teresa) of Braden,TN and Brennan D. Purdy of Union Springs, NY. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
