Bennie Cross Obituary
She was born October 16, 1934 in Byrdstown, TN to John William Pritchard and Bertha (Jones) Pritchard. She was a member of Bloomington Christian Church, a former cook for U.C.H.R.A., and a garment factory employee.
Bennie is survived by (2) daughters: Sherrie Brown and husband; Francis, Jamie Claborn and husband: Joey; (2) sons: Van Cross and wife: Marilyn, Jeff Cross and wife: Jackie; (9) grandchildren and (20) great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law: Shirley Cross; sister-in-law: Rita Pritchard. Also survived by other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents: John and Bertha Pritchard; husband: James A. Cross; (1) son: Mark Cross; (2) sisters: Betty Neal, Sue Little; (2) brothers: Smith Pritchard, J.C. Pritchard.
Funeral services will be held Monday, December 15, 2025 at 1:00 PM from Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Rick Cross officiating. The burial will be in Cross Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Brown Funeral Chapel.
