Bennie Ray Norman

Bennie Norman was born in November of 1946 in Mountain View, California. He was the second child of W.C. and Norma Jo Norman. He had two siblings, Jimmy and Linda.
After graduating from Homestead High School he was drafted into the army and served his country during the Vietnam War. On his return he married Linda Baxley and they started their own family, having two sons, Jamie and Daniel.
Bennie loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and nature in general.
He loved music and as a young man was a singer in a local band in the Bay Area. He mentioned he wished he had been able to continue singing but unfortunately that was not in the cards.
He loved his family and spending time with his three grandchildren, and there were times you might find him enjoying the nearby casinos.
He worked in the family business as a carpenter for many years.
He is survived by his two sons, Jamie and Daniel, as well as his grandchildren Aspen, Cash and Remmie.
He was loved by many and will be greatly missed by friends and family and his best friend Curly.
