Joseph Robles Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Daneri Mortuary - Jackson on Feb. 15, 2026.
Joseph M Robles Jr. passed away peacefully on February 8, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer and is now at rest.

Joseph graduated from Homestead High School in Sunnyvale–Cupertino in June 1967. Guided by his early passion for Drafting and Engineering, he completed certificate courses in Blueprint Reading in 1969. He continued to advance his education and, in December 1986, earned an Associate in Arts degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology from Evergreen Valley College. Joseph went on to build a proud year career with IBM (International Business Machines), where he formed lifelong connections and took great pride in his work.

Above all, Joseph was a devoted father to his daughter, Rebecca Robles, and a loving presence to all who knew him. He was vibrant, caring, active, and funny, a cherished son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a familiar face at the local 24 Hour Fitness, always committed to caring for his health and well being.

A true lover of cinema, Joseph enjoyed frequent movie time with family and friends. No movie night was complete without good popcorn - a beloved Robles family tradition. He had a taste for the iconic VW Beetle, a fondness that showed in his selection of his final vehicle. Joseph was also a passionate music enthusiast with an extensive record collection featuring Earth, Wind & Fire, Santana, Chicago, Roberta Flack, Stevie Wonder, and an eclectic mix of '70s oldies. And, as anyone who knew him could attest, he was a dedicated lifelong Oakland Raiders fan.

Joseph was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Carmen Robles; his sister, Gloria Leonard; and his brother in law, Eddie Medina. He is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Rebecca Robles, and his grandson, Andrew Robles Lara. He will be deeply missed by his siblings- Connie Medina, Betty Jean Sena, Violet Marion, and Rosemary Rodriguez -as well as by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and the many friends whose lives he brightened.

Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation Friday, Feb. 20, 2026, 11:00 A.M. followed by a Funeral Service 12:00 P.M. at Daneri Mortuary in Jackson CA.
