Bennie Ray Young

Bennie Ray Young of House Springs, Missouri, was born April 3, 1943 in Hickoria, Arkansas to Walter and Thelma (nee Pence) Young and entered into rest Sunday, November 2, 2025 in Fenton, Missouri at the age of 82 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Thelma (nee Pence) Young, and his siblings, Lloyd Young, Clyde Young, Robert "Bob" Young, Virginia Young, and Geneva Kirkland.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley (nee Bremer) Young; children, Cindy Duncan, Beverly (Rory) Schuttner, and April (Joe) Logan; grandchildren, Crystal (Jason Hastey) Duncan, Jamie (Chris) Morrison, Austin (Abby Remmert) Schuttner, Ashley (Richie) Graver, Ryan Metzner, Aaron Logan, Julia Metzner, and Dakota (Betzee Beckler) Schuttner; great-grandchildren, Nate, Jacob, Weston, Ashton, Layla, Joevani, Jamir, Jason, Leah, Hailey, Leo, and Journey; sister-in-law, Delphia Young; along with numerous other extended family and friends.
Bennie was a truly wonderful father - always present and always caring.. He had a steady, dependable love that made everyone around him feel supported and safe. He loved relaxing and watching TV, finding joy in the simple pleasures of life. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, Missouri 63016. Funeral Ceremony will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at 8:00 a.m. at Chapel Hill Mortuary. Interment will immediately follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri.
