Anthony Affolder

Anthony "A" Affolder, 64, of Dexter, Missouri, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2025. Born on September 30, 1961, in Dexter, he was the beloved son of the late Kenneth Affolder and Glenda Propst.
A proud and hardworking man, Anthony was a longtime member of the Labor Union, where he was respected for his dedication and willingness to lend a hand whenever someone needed it. Known for his eagerness to help others, he lived by example-strong, steady, and always ready to help those he loved.
Anthony was a loyal and fierce protector of his family, always willing to stand on their behalf. In his younger years, he ran track in school and developed a lifelong love of sports, and enjoyed weightlifting, training and playing basketball with his boys. He also enjoyed hunting, shooting, fishing, and spending time outdoors. Throughout the years, he found joy in video gaming, machinery repair and the odd wood working project.
He is survived by his children, Alex (Megan) Affolder, Tasha (Justin) Rose, and Kellie Affolder; one cherished grandchild, Amelia Affolder; and two sisters, Renee Jones and Phyllis (Jeff) Rogers. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Affolder and Glenda Propst.
Anthony will be remembered for his strong will, good humor, and generous heart. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A memorial service will be held at noon on Saturday, November 15th, at Bethel Baptist Church in Lonedell Missouri. In Lieu of flowers monetary donations can be made to his funeral bill at Chapel Hill Mortuary at 6300 Hwy 30, Cedar Hill, MO 63016 (636)274-4100.
