Robert Joseph DeSutter

Robert Joseph DeSutter, of Clayton, MO passed away on October 27, 2025. Joe, as he was known to his loving family and friends, was 78 years old. Joe loved watching sports, especially baseball, and cherished his role as perhaps the Best Fan in the Redbird Nation. He also loved museums, movies, photography, reading, and stage plays and musicals, and delighted in treating his family to shows at the Muni and the Kennedy Center. His greatest joy, however, came from his children and grandchildren, and he celebrated and supported all their pursuits and interests, often by becoming an expert on the subject himself so he could share more fully in their achievements. Services will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Clayton, MO, on December 6, 2025, at 1 p.m. Additional details about visitation with the family and the funeral service and burial can be viewed at boppchapel.com.
