Today, we gather to honor the life and legacy of Benny Imoukhuede Evien, a beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend.

Benny was born on November 4, 1961, and throughout his journey of 63 years, he touched lives with kindness, wisdom, and an unwavering spirit. He lived with dignity, carried himself with quiet strength, and offered love and support generously to those around him.

Though he has departed from this earthly home, Benny's memory remains a blessing. His laughter, his counsel, and his presence will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing him.

He is survived by his aged mother, who nurtured him with love and devotion; his five siblings, who shared in his joys and challenges; his three children, who carry forward his name and legacy; and his grandson, who will grow up hearing stories of a remarkable man whose love knew no bounds.

While our hearts are heavy with grief, we take comfort in knowing that Benny's life was a life well-lived. He leaves behind a legacy of resilience, family bonds, and love that transcends generations.

May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may his memory live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
