Bernice B. (Dornblazer) Peters, 95, of Allentown, passed away peacefully on Tuesday December 30, 2025, in her residence. She was the loving wife of the late David L. Peters, Sr. Born in Danielsville, Bernice was the daughter of the late Franklin and Beulah (Anthony) Dornblazer.

Bernice spent much of her life helping others and caring for her family. She worked for many years cleaning for other people. Bernice was deep in her faith and went to bible study as long as she could. She loved to read, spend time with friends and neighbors, and travel with her son. Bernice also enjoyed going to Becky's Drive In to see a movie. Bernice was a longtime member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church, Allentown.

Bernice is survived by her son, David L. Peters, Jr., and many friends who she cherished.

Bernice was preceded in death by an infant brother.

Services will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Emmauel UMC, 2336 S 9th St, Allentown, PA 18103. A calling hour will begin at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Grandview Cemetery, Allentown.

Memorial contributions may be made to Billy Grahman Library or the church c/o of the Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 W. Highland St. Allentown, PA 18102.

Many times I would see Bernice outside, whether walking or sitting in her front yard, always accompanied by her son David. Once she came across the street years ago ,to share a magazine with me while I was outside in my yard. She always tried to interact with neighbors. She was a kind , sweet lady.
