Bernadette Carrick Obituary

Bernadette Carrick left this world for a better place on Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2025, just past high noon. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Norm; Paul Carrick, brother-in-law, and his wife, Geri; nieces and nephews; and grandnieces and grandnephews. A woman of incredible talent, she excelled at legal work, photography, sewing, decorating, cooking, entertaining, flower arranging, and most importantly, helping anyone in need. Without her, whatever success we have enjoyed would never have happened. Cremation arrangements are being handled by H.D. OLIVER, and online condolences may be offered to the family at hdoliver.com. A gathering to remember her will be announced at a later date.

Wish I got to spend more time with Aunt Bernie. She was a great cook and host from what I remember as a small kid and knew all my movie references from books she had read. RIP I know she´s making `frogmore stew´ in heaven <3

I still make the wreaths Aunt Bernie showed me how to make. She was wonderful! She made window treatments and other beautiful garnishing for our homes. My deepest memory is of kind she was to me when I was a child and how good she always smelled. When I was older I asked what perfume she wore and bought it. Interlude- everytime I use it I think of her. She did so much for so many and we had so much fun with her at family gatherings. Bernie and Norman had Lee and I for our honeymoon then later with 3 small children we vacationed at their home. She made photo books of our vacations and framed some of them for us. She gave me framed photos of my Grandparents from when they were very young and I treasure them to this day. She did too much to to write here as the memories return. All of them joyful. Rest in peace Aunt Bernie. You were a gift to our family
