Bernadette M. Howe, 50, of Houlton, Maine, a nurse for 22 years with Houlton Regional Hospital in the Intensive Care Unit, Cardiac Rehabilitation, and Operating Room, died at her home on Friday, March 30, 2001. Calling hours are scheduled for Monday, April 2, 2001, 7-9 p.m., at Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water Street, Houlton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, April 3, 10 a.m., at St. Mary's of the Visitation Church, Military Street, Houlton. Interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are appreciated to Houlton Visiting Nurse Association/Hospice Program, 12 Kelleran Street, Houlton, ME 04730.
