Bernadine M. Ginter of Jacksonville, Florida, was called to her eternal home on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at the age of 90 at Haven Center, Orange Park, Florida.

Born to Oscar and Cora Mae Hinkel on December 14, 1934 in Wadena, Iowa.

She was preceded in death and has joined her beloved husband of 67 years Rev. Ronald A Ginter (2022) in eternal rest and life in Christ Jesus.

Bernie loved her family very deeply and kept them always in her thoughts and prayers. She faithfully worshiped God and was a true prayer warrior for all who were in need of prayers. After years of busy retirement in Rochester she and her husband relocated to Fort Myers, Florida. They later moved to Jacksonville to be near family. She was an avid fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes, and loved the Buffalo Bills!

She is survived by her loving family who will miss her encouraging words of care and faith. Daughter Linda (Lynn) Eick, Batavia, NY. Sons: the late Mark Ginter, FL, Stephen (Tonya) Ginter, N.C.
