Bernadine M. Jackowski (March 9, 1930 – May 7, 2025)

In loving memory of Bernadine Jackowski (née Galaszewski), who was reunited with her beloved husband, Myron, on May 7, 2025, at the age of 95.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Margaret Galaszewski; her brothers John (Regina), Roman (Lucy), Barney (Irene), Edward (Evelyn), and Ray (Helen); her sisters Helen (Casey) and Mary (Frank); her brother-in-law Gerald Jackowski; her grandson Jeffrey S. Renock.

Loving and proud mother of: Christine (David) Renock, Gregory (Rita), and Gary (Karen). Loving and proud grandma (Grammy) of Jennifer Hurst, Kristen (Ryan) Pieper, Katrina (Jose) Martinez Jackowski and Alison (Scean) Schoenfeld-Rose and great-grandma (Busci) of Emma, Jake, Luke, Eric, Ruby, Grant, Ellaina and Emily.

Special gratitude to her caring neighbors, Gordie and Kris who always kept a watchful eye on her. The family would also like to extend heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff at Hales Corners Care Center for their exceptional and compassionate support during her final days.

Mom always welcomed everyone around her dining table and was always ready to help and care for others. She was an exceptional cook and especially known for her apple turnovers and mock chicken legs. She loved music, dancing, playing cards, and was a skilled seamstress.

Bernadine was deeply loved by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She touched the lives of all who knew her. She was actively involved in the lives of her family and loved ones. She will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be held at Max A. Sass & Sons Funeral Home, Greenridge Chapel, on Friday, May 16, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, with a Vigil Service at 7:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Roman Catholic Church, 1710 W Bolivar Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53221, on Saturday, May 17, at 10:00 AM. Please meet directly at church. Interment to follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
