Bernard Bystrzycki Obituary
Bernard "Bernie" Stanley Bystrzycki was born October 20, 1944, in Carson City, NV, the son of Bernard "BJ" and Rose (nee Powalisz) Bystrzycki. He graduated from Brown Deer High School in 1962. After high school, Bernie enlisted in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, stationed at Camp Lejeune. On September 30, 1989, Bernie married the former Monica Tadisch at South Milwaukee Yacht Club. He was employed at CCI in Hartland in the sales department for over 20 years, retiring in 2009. Bernie was a member of American Legion Post #505. He was an avid bowler, golfer, and fisherman. Bernie enjoyed cooking and going up north.
Bernie is survived by his loving wife, Monica Bystrzycki; son, Bryan (Suzanne) Bystrzycki; daughter, Tiffany (Christopher) Detvan; grandchildren, Samantha (Patrick) Phillips, Bradley (Kaylynn) Bystrzycki, and Kassidy Detvan; great-granddaughters Violet and Rhea; brother, Wayne (Judy) Bystrzycki; sister, Rosalie (David) Klepp; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Bernie is preceded in death by his parents.
A private memorial service will be held.
