A gathering for family and friends will be held at Hafemeister Funeral Home in Watertown, WI on Saturday March 21, 2026 starting at 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. Hafemeister Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Watertown is serving the family. Online condolences may be left at www.HafemeisterFH.com.
Steven "Steve" Dale Fulwiler was born on April 8, 1968 to parents Dale and Carol (Collingwood) Fulwiler in Milwaukee, WI. Steve dedicated many years to trucking with Smedema Trucking being his most recent. On May 21, 2016, Steve was united in marriage to Janet Kreger.
Steve had a passion for driving his truck, his motorcycle, and race cars. He enjoyed a good bit of yard work, his favorite part was the zero-turn lawnmower. Steve loved music, especially Ozzy Osbourne. Steve was also fond of quiet mornings with a nice cup of coffee. Most of all, Steve valued spending time with his family and friends.
Steve is survived by his wife, Janet Fulwiler; children, LaKeesha Whitehead, Benjamin (Tatiana Powers) Fulwiler, Heather (Justin Lee) Fulwiler, Christopher (Tierra Deavers) Schmidt, Cynthia Schmidt and Cory (Stacy Merryfield) Merryfieldfulwiler; grandchildren, Clayton Townsend, Branton Whitehead, Cheyenne Whitehead, Mason Triana, Raelynn Schmidt, and Ailylah Powers; brother, Dale (Jennifer) Fulwiler; nieces, Karissa Fulwiler and Ariana Fulwiler; as well as other relatives and friends.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Carol Fulwiler.
