Bernard "Al" Dalton

Bernard Allen Dalton, "Al", of Ormond Beach, FL passed away on 12/31/25 surrounded by love. He was the husband of Jane (Burke) Dalton. They shared 58 wonderful years together.

Al was born April 23, 1934 in Calf Creek, KY to Marion Dalton and Nellie (Horn) Dalton. He was one of 10 siblings. He worked for Norfolk Southern for 45 years and was a member of Tomoka Christian Church.

Family meant everything to Al. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, thrifting and most of all - telling stories about his many adventures.

Al is survived by his wife, Jane; sons Tommy (Renee) and Bob (Jeanie), daughters Genny (Dennis), Faye (Jerry) Barbara, Loretta (David), Gene and Julie. Twenty grandchildren, Twenty-four great-grandchildren and Eight great-great- grandchildren. Six siblings and so many loved nieces, nephews and extended family.

A Visitation and Reception will take place from 10:30 AM to 12 PM, followed by a 12 PM Funeral Service on Thursday, January 8th, 2026, at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond (733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach, FL 32174, 386-673-1100). Burial will follow immediately after at Hillside cemetery (143 Seton Tr, Ormond Beach, FL 32176).

Al loved flowers and would send them even if an "in lieu of" was preferred, so take your pick and if a donation is preferred, please donate in Bernard "Al" Dalton's name to Halifax Health Hospice.
