Scott Michael Baker, 62, of Ormond Beach, Florida, passed away on February 8, 2026.
Scott was born on May 21, 1963, in Augusta, Maine. He was a proud Veteran of the United States Air Force, serving his country with honor and dedication. After his military service, he continued his life of service by receiving his master’s at FSU and becoming a devoted registered nurse caring for others with compassion, strength, and unwavering commitment.
Scott was a loving husband to his devoted wife and soulmate, Leslie Baker. He was a caring and dedicated father to Michelle Loor (Blas), Rachael Snead, and Eden Winslow, who miss him dearly and the life lessons he shared with each of them. He was their mentor, confidant, and the girl's greatest supporter. Scott also loved his role as a grandfather and treasured moments spent with Luna, Stella, and Fallon, who knew him best as their PaPa. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Baker Jr., his mother, Carolyn Baker, and his brother, Mark Baker.
Scott made everyone, including extended family and friends, feel like a best friend with his quick wit and infectious personality. Scott will be dearly missed by everyone. Scott embraced life fully. He loved riding his motorcycle and being out on his boat. He was a wonderful cook and a gracious host, happiest when surrounded by his family and friends gathered around his table. Scott will be remembered for his strength, kindness, generous heart, and deep devotion to his family. His legacy of service, love, and hospitality will live on in all who knew him.
