George Washington Fuller Jr.

George Washington Fuller, 87, was born in Hancock, Delaware New York to George

Washington and Ida Mae Couse Fuller (both predeceased him when he was young).

George went home to be with the Lord in the very early hours of January 23, 2026, with his

wife, son and daughter by his side at his home in Mims, Florida.

George was predeceased by his parents, his brother Donald (infant), his sisters, Lillian

Badami/Gemmel, Beverly Bacon and Joyce O'Dell/Charito. He is also predeceased by his

middle son, Donald Alan Fuller.

He is survived by his wife Helen M Fuller; son George H Fuller and wife Maryann; daughter-

in-law Jill (Donald) Fuller and his daughter Sharon L Myers and her husband Scott. Also

survived by his grandchildren, Nicholas Slater, Erika Fuller, Criag Myers (Madison);

Cameron Fuller, Brianna Fuller Dedrick (Randy), Tyler Myers (Miranda) and his great

grandchildren Paisley Rose Dedrick, Asad Saleh(Myers), Corbin Dedrick, Cade Myers and Grayson Myers. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews that meant the world to him.

On September 4, 1959 in Woodburne NY he married his wife and best friend, Helen Marie

Moore, of Hyde Park, New York she resides in High Point NC at present.

George lived and raised his family in Hyde Park, NY. He worked and retired from Hyde Park Highway

Department. In retirement that started in 1988, George and Helen moved to Deland, Florida followed by Ormond Beach, Florida and then to High Point, North Carolina with shared time in Mims, Florida. He worked beside Helen as the owner and operator of Adult Living Residences for several years in Florida. George spent many years puttering in his shed and creating his yard art, he loved his antiques and antique shows. They spent many trips traveling across the country. He loved his solace times of being outside and relaxing at night with his word find books and games while watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. And we can't forget the many trips to the Casinos anywhere!

George's calling hours will be from 1pm to 4pm on Saturday April 18th, 2026 at Sweets Funeral Home, 4365 Albany Post Road, Hyde Park NY,12538.

A graveside service will take place on Sunday April 19th at 1pm at Union Cemetery of Hyde Park, 1076 Violet Avenue, Hyde Park, NY 12538.
