Vincent Joseph Casucci II

Hyde Park - Vincent Joseph Casucci II, 54, of Hyde Park, died unexpectedly on February 16, 2026, at Mid Hudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie.

Born December 5, 1971, in Poughkeepsie, he was the son of Vincent J. and Francine Ann Balicki Casucci. His parents survive in Poughkeepsie.

Vincent proudly served in the United States Navy in the early 1990s as a Religious Petty Officer, a role that reflected both his devotion to his faith and his desire to support others.

A Professional Medical Massage Therapist and Shiatsu Master, he dedicated his career to helping people on their wellness journeys. His compassion, skill, and genuine care made a lasting impact on those he served.

He loved music, wrote poetry, and he cherished the companionship of his pets-Lily, Mellow, and Blue. Above all, Vincent's faith was central to his life. He loved God deeply and found joy in worshiping his Savior. Even in death, he continued his lifelong commitment to helping others by being an organ donor.

On June 13, 2018, in Lagrangeville, he married the former Angela Bittencourt. She predeceased him in 2020.

In addition to his parents, Vincent is survived by his daughter, Kira Casucci of Poughkeepsie; three sisters, Cynthia Marie Casucci-Hida of Hopewell Junction, and Tara Ann DeQuarto and husband, Paul, and Heather Lynn Driscoll and husband, Todd, both of Highland. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Gavin, Paulie, Ella, and Sayde; and his beloved companion, Traci Haight of Lagrange.

Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 PM on Tuesday, February 24th at Sweet's Funeral Home, Rte. 9, Hyde Park.

A celebration of Vincent's life will take place at 10 AM on Wednesday, February 25th at Reach Out Church, 241 Crum Elbow Rd., Hyde Park.

Burial with military honors will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery, Poughkeepsie.
