Lisa Marie Winters

Lisa Marie Winters, 60, of Staatsburg, New York, passed away on Sunday, March 1st, 2026. Born on Tuesday, August 17, 1965, in Poughkeepsie, NY, she was the daughter of John Guzzo and Rose Rinaldi Guzzo, her parents survive.

Lisa was outgoing and made friends everywhere she went. It was easy for her to strike up a conversation, and she was known for her warm personality and welcoming spirit. Her bright smile was infectious, and her sense of humor made everyone laugh. As a mother, she was loving and always went above and beyond for her sons.

At work, she was affectionately known as "the director," a testament to her leadership and confidence. Lisa worked as a Senior Loan Officer with TEG Federal Credit Union, where she worked for many years.

On September 20, 1991, at Holy Trinity Church in Poughkeepsie, she married the love of her life, Gregory Winters, Mr. Winters survives at home. Gregory's cousins became very special people in her life, and they created many fun and happy memories together.

Lisa enjoyed going to the gym, camping, and traveling up and down the East Coast, spending summers in Cape May, New Jersey and time at Lake George. Those were some of her favorite memories. She loved nature, being outdoors, and going out and about with family and friends. She also cherished her favorite camping spot, camping in Punta Gorda, Florida, where she created many special memories.

In addition to her husband Gregory, Lisa is survived by her son, Devin Scott, and his partner Catherine DeToma; her other son, Anthony Guzzo and her sister, Marie Guzzo. She is also survived by her dear friend, Teri Fedele.

In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place.
