Clinton Hoffman Obituary
Clinton Thomas "Buddy" Hoffman passed away on March 1, 2026.
Born in Shawangunk, NY on August 22, 1941, to Clinton F. and Madeline May Hoffman (née Cornwell), he grew up in Clinton Hollow, Pleasant Valley, and Hyde Park.
After graduating from Roosevelt High School in 1959, he enlisted in the Army. He enjoyed a lifelong career in construction and general contracting and eventually worked for, and retired from, Arlington Central Schools.
On May 14, 1963, he married the love of his life, Regina Marie Parisen. They enjoyed traveling between New York, Cape Cod, and Florida. Clint was an avid fisherman and loved collecting and repairing antique clocks and watches.
Clint was predeceased by his parents; his sisters Marlene, Marilyn, and Melinda; and his son, Clinton W. Hoffman.
He is survived by his wife, Regina Marie Hoffman; his daughters May Gadonniex (Michael) and Regina Fillinger (David); his brother Jeffrey Hoffman (Sue); and his grandchildren Jonathan and Michael Fillinger, and Makayla, Lily, and Jonathan Gadonniex.
A celebration of his life will be held in the spring
