David Sleight

David Marshal Sleight passed away peacefully on February 22, 2026. He was an incredible man with strength and deep devotion to his family. He leaves behind a legacy of love that lives on through all of us who were lucky enough to know him. Our family and friends are so grateful for the years of memories, time and love we shared with him. He is pre-deceased by his loving wife Margaret Sleight. He is survived by his sister Joyce Yonke, his daughter Brenda Sleight, sons David and Marie Sleight, Richard and Karen Sleight and Jason Sleight; grandchildren David, Kristin, Samantha, Jenna, Madison, and Marshal; great grandchildren Wyatt, Cameron, Zachary, Daniel, Breia, and Jack. Nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends. He is pre-deceased by parents David and Mildred Sleight and sister Diane. Services will be held at Timothy Doyle Funeral Home in Poughkeepsie N.Y. on Saturday March 7th from 2pm-5pm. In lieu of flowers you can donate to the American Heart Association.
