Bernard P Kucek

Bernard P. Kucek was born in Cleveland on August 14, 1934. He proudly served in the United States Army. Bernie was an employee of PPG for over 35 years, he held various jobs for the company prior to his retirement. Bernie died peacefully with his wife of 44 years, Glenda by his side, on Thursday, November 9, 2023.
Bernie and Glenda made their home in Avon Lake. In his spare time he enjoyed reading about sports and history. He was a carpenter and woodworker. Bernie was a life-long Cleveland sports fan, The Cleveland Indians were by far his favorite team.
Bernie leaves his beloved wife Glenda; Glenda's children, Michael Criss, Glenn Criss (Tracey), and Maribeth Weidig (Mark); he is the dear grandfather of Shannon, Joshua, Jordan, Spencer, Emily and Kate; and brother of Lawrence Kucek. He was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Josephine; and his sister, Barbara Ramella.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice.
Family will receive friends at the Busch Funeral Home, 32000 Detroit Rd. Avon, 44011, for a public visitation from 4:00pm until 6:00pm, on Wednesday, November 15. At 6:00pm a funeral service will be held for Bernie. www.buschcares.com 440-937-6175
