Bernard Maciag Obituary
Bernard J. Maciag, age 84 of Canton, Michigan passed away on September 8, 2025.
He was born in Dearborn, Michigan on June 16, 1941 to his parents, the late Sophia (née Faust) and Bernard J. Maciag.
Bernard is the beloved and devoted husband of Margaret M. (née Gawron) Maciag and loving father of Laura (James) Walesch.
He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his siblings Barbara Montney, Gregory Maciag, Beverly Maciag and Nancy Green as well as many nieces and nephews. He is pre-deceased by his brother, David Maciag.
Friends may visit St. John Neumann, Catholic Church, 44800 Warren Road, Canton, Michigan on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 from 10:00 A.M. until the start of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 A.M.
Bernard will be laid to rest at St. Hedwig Cemetery in Dearborn Heights, Michigan.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish to honor the memory of Bernard J. Maciag are invited to consider a contribution to The Salvation Army, Plymouth Corps, 9451 South Main Street, Plymouth Michigan 48170.
Contribution envelopes will be available at the Church.
