Beloved husband of 60 years to Catherine Murphy (nee Coyle).
Devoted father of Denise (Peter) Coules, Laura (Edmund) George and Teresa Murphy.
Proud papa of Lanie (Zachary), Madeline, Casey (Dakota), and Jack.
Loving son of the late Anthony and Ellen (nee Fleming) Murphy.
Cherished brother of the late Mary, Christopher, Anne, Sarah, Vincent, and Angela.
Adored uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Retired after 42 years at Central Steel and Wire Company and former Trustee of Orland Park for 26 years.
Visitation Sunday 2-6 p.m.
Funeral Monday 8:45 a.m. from the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home, 9000 W. 151st Street, Orland Park to St. Michael Church, Mass 9:30 a.m.
Interment Good Shepherd.
In lieu of flowers donations to Village of Orland Park Special Recreation Department, 14700 Ravinia, Orland Park, IL 60462, www.orlandpark.org would be appreciated.
