Margaret Markiewicz Obituary
Margaret "Dolly" Markiewicz, nee Doody, went to be with the Lord on March 8, 2026.
She was a loving Wife, a devoted Daughter and Sister and a cherished Aunt to many nieces and nephews.
She joins her Husband, George A. Markiewicz, in Eternal Rest.
Dolly was born in Chicago on August 24, 1939, to Maurice and Teresa Doody.
Loving Stepmom of Scott (Dawn) Markiewicz. Dear Sister of Mary (late Tom) and the late Eileen (late John). Caring Aunt to Thomas (Jean), Michael (Lisa), Mary (John), Brian (Elsa), Eileen, Tim, Kevin and the late John.
Cherished Great-Aunt to many grandnieces and grandnephews.
Visitation Friday March 20, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. until time of prayers at 9:45 a.m. at the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home, 9000 W. 151st Street, Orland Park, IL, proceeding to St. Francis of Assisi Church, 15050 S. Wolf Road, Orland Park, IL for Mass at 10:30 a.m.
Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery

Dolly & I were friends in High School & worked together in our teen years at a Bank downtown. What fun we had! We remained friends to the end.
