Bernard “Bernie” Partney of Philadelphia, PA passed on December 27, 2025, at the age of 92. Born on September 24, 1933, to the late Eva W and Max Partney. Brother to the late Kalmon Partney and late Estelle (Esther) Silverman. Beloved Husband to the late Rosalind (Wiesner) Partney. Father to the late Rhonda Joyce Smilowitz and the late Deborah Mindel. Survived by his daughter Susan Harrison, and son-in-laws Kenneth Harrison, Raymond Mindel and Harvey Smilowitz. Grandfather to Raymond Harrison, Randy Smilowitz, Rachel Harrison, Reva Mindel and Simon Mindel.
Bernie was in the US Army as a MP stationed in Germany after WWII. He was a cost estimator/accountant as a profession. He was active in many synagogues throughout his life.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Graveside Services on Tuesday, December 30, 1:00 PM precisely at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, 1200 Bartram Avenue, Collingdale, PA 19023. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Temple Beth Ami Synagogue,9201 Old Bustleton Avenue, Philadelphia PA 19115, and/or American Friends of Magen David Adom, www.afmda.org
