Bernard S. Rajkumar

Bernard (Ben) S. Rajkumar, 85, formerly of Tiverton and Bristol, Rhode Island, died on November 13, 2025. He was the husband of Gemma (Lake) Rajkumar.

Ben was born in Princess Town, Trinidad, on September 29, 1940. He is survived by his children and their spouses, Sean (Nicole), Karen Cooper (Rich), and Brett (Michelle), his grandchildren, Jillian, Justin, Hayden, Isabella, and Michael.

Ben is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Henrietta, and his siblings, Molly, Jean, Clifford, Ena, Wilma, Forbes (Mackie), and Joyce. He was the beloved "Uncle Ben" to nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

Ben spent his career in the oil industry in Trinidad, working for Shell, Texaco, and Petrotrin. He was a great sportsman and represented Trinidad on the Squash national team, played tennis, and loved golf with a passion. He served as the Chairman of the Pointe-a-Pierre Club for many years, managing the club's many sports and social activities for members and families. He had an exceptional green thumb and volunteered at the Magaziner Community Farm in Bristol and was an Eucharistic minister for St. Theresa's parish in Tiverton.

Funeral Mass is being held at St. Theresa church 265 Stafford Rd, Tiverton, RI 02878 at 10am November 22, 2025.
