Bernard Ray "Buddy" Rash, age 77, of Bear, DE, passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2022.

Born in Wilmington, DE, on June 4, 1944, he was a son of the late Tilghman Arthur and Helen Marie (Stranahan) Rash. Buddy enjoyed boating and fishing in his spare time. A Mason, he was a member of St. John's Lodge No. 2 A.F.&A.M., Nur Shrine, and Scottish Rite of Delaware.

In addition to his parents, Buddy was preceded in death by his sister, Gloria Krause; and niece, Kimberly Krause. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Theresa V. (Siejack) Rash; sons, Frederick Rash, and Greg Rash (Beverly); grandchildren, Justin, Lauren, Carlee, Peyton, and Allison; and nephew, Steven Krause.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 11:00 am until 12:15 pm on Friday, June 10, 2022, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a Masonic service will begin at 12:15 pm and a funeral service will held at 12:30pm. Interment will follow in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, DE.

The family suggests flowers or donations in Buddy's name to Shriners Hospital for Children, Attn.: Processing Center, PO Box 947765, Atlanta, GA 30394 or Seasons Hospice, 220 Continental Drive, Ste. 101, Newark, DE 19713.

So sorry to hear of your loss. Buddy was a good guy always. I will not be able to attend as our household has Covid. Know that he and his family are in my prayers.
