Bernard Roote Obituary
Bernard was born on May 16, 1943 to Charles and Margaret (Six) Roote in Kalkaska, Michigan. He spent his career working for the family business doing siding and roofing. In his spare time, he could often be found on his motorcycle listening to country music. He enjoyed taking trips to the casino and buying scratch-off lotto tickets. Bernard was quite a character and often had something funny to say. He cherished the time spent with his family and friends.
Bernard is survived by his children, Craig Simpson, Sherrie (Eric) Swales, and Dawn Boone; grandchildren, Trevor, Summer, Gannon, and Molly; great-grandchildren, Jordan and Olena; siblings, Caroline Eligh, Ron (Phyllis) Roote, Linda (Luke) Dunnigan and Pamela (Rick) Rayment; half-siblings, Chris (Monica) Roote and Cheryl Roote; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, BethAnn "Kriquette" Chappelle; a brother, Larry Roote; and his parents.
Per his wishes, cremation has taken place, and no services will be held at this time.
